A poem and a prayer
In the darkness of the night In the sickness of the heart In the lowness of the spirit and in the coldness of the hearth No man for long can stand alone among these things he needs another's hand but beware what others bring? In the raging of revenge in the hate that brings forth war in the battles amongst men and the fire of envy's door No man for long can stand, alone among these things he needs another's hand but what other can this mean? In the Light that gives the day, in the Source that gives men health, in the One who gives the Spirit and in the Warmth that gives men Life No man for long can stand, alone among these things, all men instead must kneel down in prayer Amen, so let it be. To the God of all, all men give praise, for him who gives us endless days, glory, honor, love, and song, to he who lends us Love so long, to God the Father, and the Son, and Holy Spirit ever blessed, may we to you give endless glory, and in you find eternal rest. ...
